Hair Inspiration!

I'm bored with my hair AGAIN...Is this taking it too far? Am I getting ahead of myself?
Kate Lanphear, style editor of Elle, pulls this hairstyle off way too well.

Thanks to the pretty ladies at Matchless :)

Ocotillo!

So good. Checkout Daniel's blog for some good tunes! I am not technologically saavy enough to upload mp3's (yet).

Carolina Irving!

While rummaging through fabric scraps at work today, I came across Carolina Irving's fabric and was instantly intrigued. After heating up my new Douglas Fir Tip Tea (thanks Heidi)! I did some major research and fell in love with her homemade, vintage-looking prints.

Mask!

Studs+Mask+Lady Gaga= Yes Please.

Via- Grace Coddington's favorite moments of fashion week.
P.S. Watch the September Issue even if you're a hater. Grace is genius.

Chromat!

I met Becca Mccharen of Chromat Clothing in a dimly lit restaurant booth after she had been to almost a million fashion parties in one day, but still seemed eager for more. She's sweet as pie, ambitious (way more than I) and her clothes correlate with her architecture background. She's currently located in Virginia but hopefully her clothes will be in a store near you soon!

(Sorry about the small photos)

West 10th Street

I took a stroll through the West Village today.
I drank a delicious coffee.
I found a book that I want to read.
I admired a green door that will look nice in my coffee table book of doors I make one day.

***These photos were all taken by my worthless phone.

Rodarte!

What a hot-depressing-mess! It's a lot for the eye to handle but the Mulleavy sisters still cultivate beautiful outfits with drapes, twists and multiple textures while sticking cobwebs in the models hair and post apocalyptic tattoos all over their bodies. Word on the street is once the sisters graduated from Berkley they laid low and watched up to four horror movies a day! Watch the show here.

colorstripecamoyes!

I hardcore envy this look but if I ever wore it I'd look like Pippi Longstocking gone G.I. Jane.

Norma Kamali for Walmart!

Thanks to Karyn at, reasonigetupinthemorning, I discovered Norma Kimali's line for Walmart. It's amazing and perfect for recessionistas like myself.

Exposed!

I was going to give double exposing a break on the ol' Diana but then I couldn't resist and tried one last time. It worked. FINALLY!

Italia!

Here are a few Italy photos taken by my Diana camera. I am still waiting on more. Ciao ciao.

Remember the Turn this Outfit Into a Room column in Domino? Design Sponge is making their own version "turn this room into an outfit." I understand why many think it's a rip off from Domino but I'm really enjoying this re-creation and think it should be a permanent fixture for DS and the perfect way to carry on with tradition!

Portello!

Sorry about my blogging hiatus! I'm back from Italy and more inspired than ever. I will post pictures to come but for now I can't stop thinking about Tuscan colors, doors of Italy and how I can fly one back to my Brooklyn apartment. Now, more than ever, I want to make a coffee table book filled with doors of the world.
