Dirt Cake!
Never in a million years would Mother dearest EVER let me consume such a "fowl" dessert. However, Astrid and I made the worlds best recessionist dessert called Dirt Cake on Sunday as a pre-celebratory Birthday activity for Astrid. It was a huge hit at our dinner party especially with the grown ups (there were a handful of children under 10 who wanted nothing to do with it)! It's cheap and a great activity in this brutal economy. Happy Birthday Astrid!
